BSNC maintains a shareholder campsite program that allows BSNC shareholders to select a campsite along the Kougarok Road, east and north of Salmon Lake. Campers are provided a Land Use permit for the immediate area of their camp and are required to construct a habitable dwelling within one year of entering the program. Most campsites measure 200’ by 200.’ BSNC does not issue title for the land to the applicant and no commercial operations are allowed on campsites. Applications must be filed in person at the BSNC Land and Resource Department in Nome.
